We got to the park around 9pm or so and we were able to ride Top Thrill Dragster, Wicked Twister, Disaster Transport, maXair and Millennium Force before the park closed at 11pm. Top Thrill was the longest wait and was close to 45 minutes. Being that it was Saturday night we felt pretty good about all that we had accomplished and this meant that Sunday could be a bit more laid back. We were able to score some early entry passes, which meant rides on Raptor (front row walk-on and back row walk-on), Millennium Force (15 minute wait) and Maverick (15 minute wait) all before the park opened. Once the crowds started heading in we headed for a snack and any time I visit Cedar Point I like to score mini-corndogs buried in liquid cheese. After snack time we headed back for another ride on Top Thrill. It wound up being about a 30 minute wait. When we got to the park it was pretty cloudy and the weatherman called for clouds all day. By the time that we got off TTD there wasn’t a cloud in the sky. So we headed back to the car for sunglasses and cameras. Once we got back into the park Ben rode Demon Drop. This was his first time on an Intamin Freefall. He liked it; I like the drop part but hate the transition back to vertical. We meandered our way to the back of the back and decided to give the mini-golf courses a try. The 3 of us have played a ton of mini-golf over the years and the two courses at Cedar Point are top notch, expect for the part where birds attach your head. It was close to 2pm by the time we got done with golf and we were hungry again. We popped into Famous Dave’s and after a cold beer and a trash can lid full of BBQ it was time for some R&R back at the room. We returned to the park around 8pm and left ourselves enough time to ride Top Thrill Dragster, Wildcat and Millennium Force twice without ever waiting in much of a line. On our way out of the park we checked out the Starlight Experience and I was thoroughly impressed. When I first heard about it I didn’t give it a second thought but once I saw it I thought that it was on par with parts of Silver Dollar City’s Christmas set up. The highlight of this trip would have to be the multiple night rides on Millennium Force. Our one ride on maXair was also pretty intense. It just kept going and going. At one point I was sure that we were going to die because I didn’t remember it going as high as it did or as long. Next up is King’s
