This was our first trip to Knott’s and we didn’t know what to expect. What we found was a great little park that knows how to pack rides into a tight spot so the next thrill is just a few steps away from the last. Most of their rides rank near the top of the perspective categories. During this trip we spent an afternoon and the following morning exploring the park. Spotty rain showers were an issue on both days but never a big enough problem to shut anything down. Since we were there during weekday operation lines were never a concern. We were able to ride whatever we wanted and the maximum amount of time that we waited was 20 minutes. The 20 minute wait was for the newest addition to the park, Xcelerator. This was the highlight of the trip since it was our first experience with a rocket coaster. I think that we rode it 5 times (another example of weekday visits paying off).
