What a difference three weeks can make. During our last visit on Oct 12th the ride hadn't gone vertical yet. Now a large portion of the bents for the out run are in place (s-turn section), the turnaround is up and track bed is being laid down and sporadic portions of the return run are up. They've left some of the bent sections on the ground in the return so they can manuever the crane around. Also during this time a retaining wall has been built along the creek and the footers for the top of the lift and drop have been completed. Footer trenches for the final turn and brake run have been poured and accoding to the park's PR Manage they hope to have concrete work wrapped up in the next few weeks. This project is zooming along.
Here are some choice shots from this afternoon.
