Las Vegas
« on: Nov 23, 2009, 08:35 »
Im Going to las vegas for spring break and i was wondering if any of the thrill rides there are worth it, the rides on the stratesphere tower looks fun but you have to pay to go up there and then for each ride and it would be expensive, the adventure dome only has one good ride the only other good ride looks to be deperado over in primm.

I don't know how much cash you'd have to fork over to ride Speed but in my eyes it looks like a pretty decent coaster. It's a Premier launcher and those are always fun in my opinion. Might be worth riding, I've never personally rode it so I can't judge how good of a ride it is by personal experience.

I would do Desperado and Speed (if it's still open).

Everything else is crap.

Desperado is great, and Canyon Blaster is a very smooth double loopscrew (plus the theming is fun). I would not recommend Manhattan Express to anyone. I'll be going on Speed for the first time next month (has been closed every time I go to Vegas).

Word of advise, if you are going to Las Vegas, prepare to spend a lot of money!

P.S. Desperado is about an hour's drive, and was something like $8 per lap, the other rides at Buffalo Bills will most likely be closed, and there isn't much else to do in Primm...just a heads up.

I'll think of some fun Vegas things to do and post them here.

Go to <<O>> at the Bellagio.  This is by far the best Cirque du Soleil show out in Las Vegas

we stayed off the strip at the Cancun, i rode all three of the rides, speed was awesome but they were only running 1 train every 15 min so i only rode it once, canyon blaster was surprising and it was alot of fun, Roller coaster at new york new york was just painful, the first part with the hills and the loops was smooth enough but then it got really rough
