Don't diss Anaconda; it's a sweet ride.

Are we talking about the same ride?  Because the Anaconda at KD is far from a "sweet" ride

B&M would have no need to put their parts in containers, they ship from Cincinnati, OH. Intamin...unless really overburdened, will fabricate and ship overseas.
I thought Intamin had a plant in the U.S.A. like B&M does? I could be wrong there though.

I don't know if it'd be an aquatrax though because the land theyre clearing does not look like it'll interact with the water. I see a mega-lite personally.

Nope, it's clearly an Aquatrax. I don't see any other option.

^Wait, have you heard that directly from Blobb?  If you have, then there is no other possibility -- I mean look how accurate he was with Maverick.  He was totally convinced that was going to be an Aquatrax coaster!

Isn't the speculation on yellow track being spotted at the B&M plant? With these yellow supports...Could there be a connection of the two?

These supports are not from B&M.
Also B&M does not ship their supports in "overseas shipping containers"

B&M makes all of their track and supports domestically in a plant just outside of Cincy.  They ship their parts on flat bed trailers because it is not neccessary to load them in such containers unless they are being shipped outside of the US.

Now while Intamin does have some builders inside the United States, it seems to be the norm to fabricate their track and supports in Europe and then ship them in containers such as those that you see.  This was what happened with both Maverick and Farenheit.

The containers are called intermodal containers, built for sea, rail, and road. They are pretty genius design, as they can be stacked and moved around easily. Quality control is better when you can have your people oversea the construction of the parts directly.

I'm waiting for Worlds of Fun to get their kick ass Intamin. No matter what it is, I'd even take Wicked Twister! They have grown on me so.

I would think that our next coaster would be a launched coaster -- preferably one that is built for speed (Xcelerator or Storm Runner) and not one that is built for directional changes (Maverick)

I'm hoping the next Worlds of Fun coaster is a launched one as well. Just imagine driving to the park seeing a top hat or something similar dominating the WoF skyline, that'd be pretty awesome!

Oh yes, that's the only place to get reliable information. We all remember how he so kindly predicted that Prowler would be Hannah Montana: The Ride. Sweet, sweet revenge. >:)

As far as WoF's next coaster. I want a Megalite or a Maverick-type thing in Orient's old lot. Yum, yum.

I'm gonna stick with what I said earlier, I want something with a top hat at Worlds of Fun if they got a launched. Something with a Top Hat and Inversions. For those who have rode Storm Runner then you know how awesome a top hat and inversion combo is. What a great ride Storm Runner is at that!

I've ridden Storm Runner and I'm still not crazy about top hats.

If we get a launched coaster I want an S&S.  I love the airtime hills and overbanked curves on Powder Keg

I've rode a few launchers and my favorites are Kingda Ka and Storm runner when it comes to Intamin. I have yet to ride Powder Keg so I can't speak for S&S but what if it did have airtime and inversions? That might be an awesome combo that would make me fly out to Kings Dominion to ride it!

We won't get a 300 ft coaster. I would be shocked. If we do, pretend I never said this, but honestly, we aren't going to get a 300 footer. We already have Mamba and we aren't big enough to have a giga alongside a hyper (like Magnum and Force). A launched coaster is way more plausible.

Do all of Intamin's new rockets have OTSRs? I know most of them had, but a lot of them have had inversions.

I know that we're totally off subject here but lets get back to assuming that WoF would never build an Intamin.  Then what launch coaster would you want?

I like the looks of the Mack coasters.  I've never been on one so they could be total crap.  :dunno:

S&S!!! However, it must be like PowderKeg and not a Thrust Air (Hypersonic sucked big time)

Vekoma built Rock'n'Roller Coaster at Studios and it is pretty good.
Premier would be all right, as I really like the Freeze clones
Zamperla (Pony Express) was very underwhelming, but it might just be that layout.

I don't know how much more likely KD is to get a 300' than WoF...

Are CF and Intamin not best buddies anymore? Did something change after Maverick. Assuming WoF does not get sold (please, God), I don't really think an Intamin launch would be out of the question.

I know Missouri (sort of) has three GCIs right near each other, but those are going to be less recognizably similar to park guests than, say, Powder Keg and a Powder Keg-like coaster at WoF.
Now that I think about it, though. I could see WoF getting something like Italian Job (or whatever they're calling it now).

^Dick Kinzel made it very clear at Coaster Mania that if he was given the choice between adding theme to a coaster or adding extra length to the coaster, he is going to go with the length everytime and that the days of "Italian Job" style coasters at any of the parks in the chain are long gone.

I mean Italian Job as far as intensity. Good, solid family coaster. Steel family coasters are harder to find than woodies.
