It doesn't help if the water is stinky then it just drys the smell on you

They should add some kind of theming to the dryer, cause from the pics it looks like it'll stick out like a sore thumb in a 1880's theme park.

It will have a facade on it, the photos that you've seen are of it before it was actually installed

ZZtop the stank is on you when you are wet too! So why not be dry! I will not use them because if it is like the ones at Sux Flags Great America you have to pay and I refuse to pay for that.

It was there at Coaster Con as well.  I believe that it had just been installed because it didn't work yet.

A huge ass sign in the middle of the walk way with an arrow would probably suffice.

I don't think a huge sign is needed. It was pretty obvious.

Indeed - we need a HUGE ASS SIGN.  A huge sign is not enough. :D

I was there Thursday and Friday. So many people... I waited over an hour for Powder Keg and Thunderation. And it was still pretty cool out, so the water rides weren't packed. But River Blast seemed to have a respectable crowd both days. The area looks great. I will try to write up a photo TR tomorrow. :)

Working on my PTR from my Friday visit. (EDIT: Now complete -- see my PTR thread)
There was 14.5K people there Friday and it got up to 70*F (not cool by any means).

PK line was way too long for me, so didn't ride it, but got a couple of rides on WF! and a few on the other rides.  River Blast is a lot of fun.

Fridays was better for water, yeah, but it was still in the low 60s most of Thursday.
I was about to say that it's weird I didn't see you, but then I remembered that there were something like 13,000 people in the park, hahaha.

At least they don't have an event that can only be seen at night so the exit gets jammed because everyone of the 14.5K are trying to leave at the same time. I for one would like to see another exit or bigger exit added next instead of a new ride.

Both Thursday and Friday, the closing time was extended by one hour to help alleviate the pressure of the people trying to leave.  Honestly I found it worse trying to get into the park then leaving on Friday.

They have been doing that each year but keep on scheduling themselves to close at 6PM. I wonder when they'll just start scheduling Spring Family Days Closing time to 7PM?

I've been expecting them to do some major work on the entrance/exit sometime soon. With all the other infrastructure projects that have occured, you'd think they'd have done something by now. SDC must be the largest park in existence to only have what, 10 turnstiles to get in? And then everyone has to funnel through a tight hallway to get out? Seems like they'd have done something in this area before the new parking lot, but I guess it will be very expensive...

If nothing else, it gets you to slow down and look around, which is especially good (for SDC, not you) if you're surrounded by merchandise in the store trying to leave the park.
But I agree... The current layout needs work.
