I thought both the wood coasters were quite out of control on Sunday! Timberwolf didn't use it's trim brake on the first drop, and if I'm not mistaken, the thing wasn't even installed.

Whoah. I hope that's correct.  I didn't go last weekend, but I may have to find time this weekend simply to ride TW without those trims. Its no secret  around here how much I like TW so that made my day.   ddr

It's pretty common for TW to start the season with just 1 train.

Only recently...

I didn't ride Timber Wolf Saturday as the line was very long with only one train, but I wouldn't get your hopes up that the brake is gone.  It has been there since the summer of 1995 and it occasionally is turned off and maybe Sunday's riders were lucky to have it off.

Maybe they turned it off because I howled quite loudly as our train left the station? :)

It seems that Prowler has ~500 bents, I did not count past the bents that had numbers on them (some of the ones on the second half of the lift hill were no longer numbered). That is a lot of wood holding the coaster up!
