Why was Prowler down this morning?

It had something to do with the ride being made out of corndog sticks

I know it went down tuesday around 5:30, something about the computer freezing up. All I know is they said it was down, then a minute later they were testing.

They were tied this morning.  I'm glad that Prowler has pulled ahead.

This is turning out to be a good race. I'm just shocked that Diamondback has not had a big pull in this race.

Yeah! Me too! After all of the hype and great reviews, you would think it would be competing for first way more.

So if Prowler ends up winning this, will they use this in their brochure for next year like Dollywood did this year with Mystery Mine? (even though it won it in 2007)

Well I can finally post my thoughts on Prowler.....what an amazing ride! It truely was a fun ride from start to finish and is surely going to become an instant classic. I loved every minute of Prowler. I think my favorite part of the ride is the curved first drop. I've been on curved drops on a woodie before but nothing can match that first drop on Prowler. The S-Turn was also a lot of fun and was so smooth to. I'm still amazed at how smooth this ride truely is. I just can't stop raving about how much I loved Prowler. It currently sits as my second favorite ride and it might become my favorite. I'm riding it again tomorrow so we'll see how that pans out.

the only thing I don't care for on Prowler, and it is so minor IDK if I should even mention it, there is a weird transition right before the set-up to the double down that jars the car to the right that I don't care for, but the rest of the ride is gold.

I did not even notice that. Then again I was having so much fun on the ride I did not notice any jerks or jars that the ride may have done. I'm easy to please when it comes to wooden coasters and Timber Wolf and Prowler are great rides. But I'll agree that ride is golden.

Are you talking about the little straightaway section there? I really like how that jerks you around, especially at night.

Great find! I love how the video covers all areas of the ride and the video itself just looks flat out awesome!

WOW, I had no idea how fast this thing actually was. No wonder it's getting such rave reviews. I'll have to make it up there next year.

Can't wait for the SDC version.

Can't wait for the SDC version.

Given their track record, I'd say you'll be waiting for awhile.

They've got one of the best GCI's sitting right there in Branson.  I'm interested in seeing what actually happens to it.

Yeah. I've met you before. Remember?

To keep this on topic, we were at WoF Saturday for my company day and rode the Prowler. What a ride. I'd have liked to rode it again at night, but we had to leave.

Also rode the Patriot a couple of times. The last time we were in the front car and WOW, what a difference from the front! It's like we were flying around the track.

Yep.

Anyway, interesting forum you got here. After Saturday, I've been reading all kinds of coaster stuff on the web. I caught a little bug I guess.

They'll probably rip it apart to build the Branson Bell Too!  -  This time with TALKIN' CATZ!!!!

Sorry I'm still just a little P-O'ed that coaster isn't up anymore and the longer it takes the more likely it seams demolition is in it's future...  Glad I managed one last ride last year.
