STRATOSOAR

New for 2011 at some Cedar Fair park.
New Trademark was filed for the name on July 16th.
You heard it here first.

...and let the speculation of which park will get this ride, begin.

I bet that's what CP is getting. You always see videos of that swing ride over the water. That would fit.

NewPlusNotes has a link http://newsplusnotes.blogspot.com/2010/08/all-way-up-into-stratosoar.html

The early rumor on Screamscape was Star Flyer.  This pretty much cements it IMO.

Cedar Point will make an announcement on Aug 8th as well.
So that makes it WOF, DP and CP all on the same day.
VF will announce on the Friday before

Knowing Cedar Point, they will probably make it even taller.

What about the Snoopy present there? Are they honestly going to market a 350' Star Flyer as a kiddie ride? Or is that maybe not the only 2010 addition? Or are we completely on the wrong track?

^Well if you go by the rumors, something is supposed to be added to Planet Snoopy.  New kiddie coaster? IDK.

Just because the present is for Snoopy doesn't mean it can't be a thrill ride... Right?
