Looks can be deceiving

TRUST ME THIS THING SUCKS BAD.

If it comes to ANY park I visit at all regularly I will be highly disappointed.

I have seen where alot of people really like the Villian and say it would be back 2 being a headliner if it had new trains......does ne1 that has ridden it agree with that?

I'm torn really.  Part of me wants any coaster that we can get at WOF, the other part of me remembers how badly I was jarred on Villain when I rode it in June.... hmmm.....

I already only ride Timber Wolf about 4 or 5 times a year (this number is going up as they continue to improve its' performance), I don't need another coaster at the park that I would ride less.  I think I would only ride Villain once or twice a year tops.

I know you couldn't have paid me to get back on it after I rode it in August without when it was a walk on (including every other ride in the park as there was maybe 40 other guests in the ENTIRE park.)

When I talk to the General Public about wooden coaster most of them cringe at the possibility of the pain and this ride only bolsters that cringe.  On the other hand the new woodies being built are completly reversing that trend and I for one hope WoF gets on that bandwagon.

I'm just thinking that it wouldn't be much more to just build a GCII and be done with it. :D

bow2me I think that something new to WOF, hopefully a coaster, will be great!  I love to see that the park is growing and the way that Halloween Haunt is increasing the traffic to WOF. :occasion14:

I am very happy that WOF is not becoming a ghost town like GL did.

My question is with all the Ride Announcements starting now is WOF going to added any new ride or rides this year? Or are they just doing some Face lift type stuff like the Bathrooms? Either way it will be improving my Favorite park so I will be happy.

The first time I rode Villain was in the second row. It was lots of fun. Then we hit the bottom of the first drop and I nearly got a concussion. I was one of the lucky ones. The second time I rode Villain was in the front row. This was after the retracking. It was still one of the roughest coasters I've ever ridden. And this was a best-case scenario. Front row of a newly retracked wooden coaster. Yes, I realize that it wasn't totally retracked, but even the retracked part was bad.

Now that is funny :occasion14:

It DOES have one fun lift hill.

I don't see a lot of people using the 2nd I.  Inc. is rarely used in acronyms.

If you google Great Coasters International you'll find a ton of references to plain ole GCI.

Oh I just felt like keeping the GCI because the last i is mainly pointless.  But I understand! :BangHead:

Not that this is the stupidest argument ever or anything like that, but maybe we should, you know, like, stop.

I don't see why most of you are getting so worked up at the slight possibility that Villain may come to WOF. Face it, it would be an impractical move in most every way. Of course, I've been wrong about these kinds of things before, but I really don't think CF would go through the trouble and expense to carefully dismantle a crummy coaster when a similar and better ride could be built cheaper.

^Huh? I'm saying it doesn't make sense to carefully dismantle, ship, and rebuild a crappy wooden coaster when a new one could be built cheaper, or at least cheaper when all thing are considered.

Steve what I was saying is that the pickings are getting thin if we want something from Gl -- the only other things left are the Boomerang, Double Loop and a few flats

But why would we want anything from GL if we can get something else that's better for less? I mean, I guess it would make more sense for them business-wise to just throw GL's old rides into other parks and advertise them as new for awhile rather than buy new rides right now, but still, there's no sense in trying to shove square pegs in rounds holes when it comes to the coasters.

But pounding square pegs in round holes is always so much fun.
