HHF - Dominion was very much a foggy walkway, but it did have props. Mostly just tombstones and mausoleums. It focused more on talent than props, like all zone haunts.

Ben - I've never been to the Beast, so I don't know.

The Beast is basically London's haunted history. You go face to face with the wearwolf Jack the Ripper and many other famous European monsters, and murders. That's why I'm worried about it being compared to the new one it'll never stand up to it.

BTW I just watched a video of London Terror on YT and I can say I am not impressed, it just looks like a bunch of skimpy teenage girls acting like forest fairies. Bring back Dominion WOF! :cussing:

Well, keep in mind that both the Beast and the other LT houses have been in-doors. That will not be the case here.

Do you think they will finally close the Nile and put cornstalkers into the flume?  I think that would be a great idea as it would give WOF a long haunt that they so desperately need to disperse the crowds.

Highly doubtful.
Nile is a major attraction.

Season Pass Question: Someone asked  last night about renewing season passes. Do we have to go to the park to renew, or can we do it online and use our old one?

You do have to go to the park.  But still bring your old card.  It will make the process much easier.

Is there are new process this year?  They didn't even look at my old card last year.  Just my voucher.

^ From my experience it depends on who is working that day.  The system is capable of pulling your name, photo, address, etc from last year's card and reusing it for 2010.  Again, it usually comes down to the employee.

I love the idea of closing nile down and having it become its own haunted house.  However I see a few problems.  #1 the trough of nile is not flat, it has "logs" that dot the bottom, that create the waves.  That would be a huge tripping hazard in the dark unless they were covered up.  You obviously couldn't use the entire nile, as towards the end it gets VERY deep, would the park build a staircase to get into the trough and out of it?  They could as they did the same thing with the Express tunnel, but that is a closed ride and the staircase is permenant.  Nile will need to operate atleast up until Halloweekends.

Otherwise, even as one of the most vocal people out there, I wouldn't have any problems with them closing down nile entirely during Halloweekends.  Its a water ride. I think its a great idea.

I agree with Jennifer!  Cedar Point does the same thing for Warewolf Canyon or maybe it's since been changed to Cornstalkers.  I'm sure others in the chain do too.  How can WOF not do the same thing?  What does CP do in their flume to make it acceptable for a haunt and avoid the wave making logs?  Even though the Nile is a major attraction, it doesn't mean it can't be closed.  It's fall and the weather is so wishy washy that it might be best to close.  The Monsoon is a major attraction and it's closed during Haunt.  Also the Nile closes early for Camp.  I worked Nile for many years and the lines weren't ever too crazy when we had Boo Blast.  Plus the leaves were a big pain to skim and also cause many loaded shutdowns.

That does sound like a cool idea, using Fury of the Nile.  Maybe incorporate it with the current Camp layout and you'd have a Mega Haunt.

Woops!
I thought you meant take down Nile completely and replace it with a haunt.
I gotcha now! That DOES sound like a great idea! :)

I don't have any photos but it was a lot of fog down the midway with some props in the fog for the screamsters to hide in and jump out of etc. It was pretty cool walking through it because there was so much fog you couldnt see barely anything and the lighting was great. The only issue I had was the extremely cold weather that night!

Somehow I doubt it.

No idea, but I'm kind of liking the concept of the site. With sites like HHNVault & Ultimate Haunt/Monsterspace/TPA, it's interesting to see a site that's widely focused on a group of Halloween stuff and not just one park. I run the CF Haunt thread over at TPR every year so this could definitely come in use.

Somehow I doubt it.

They did cite credit, and left the CC logo on the photograph.
