Timber Wolf was open for ERT the first year and barely anyone used it.

I kind of wish that both Mamba and Patriot could be open for morning ERT

I make no assumptions that it would be utilized.  I just wanted to give him a hard time seeing as TW is 20 this year.

I honestly think TW ERT would be pointless, unless maybe was combined with MAMBA for a night ERT.  Either way,  I can't remember waiting more than 10 minutes to ride TW last year so it would be a waste.

I voted for Prowler. Mainly because it'll probably be packed all season. And the fact that Coaster Mayhem is on a weekend doesn't help with the lines.
I just want to get my fill of the beast. =P

I voted Patriot. I do wish Timber Wolf would be up there but hey Patriot surely is one good Inverted Coaster!

I used it! Wooo!
Those were some nice, smooth rides, too.

I want Patriot AND Mamba. But if I have to choose... Patriot.

See I agree, why can't it be both?  We've always had two coasters for morning ERT

Agreed. I have high hopes for this ride, and since it's the first year it'll be HOURS in line just to ride it.

Not if you are smart enough to get there before the park opens and wait at the front gates for a few minutes. Just head straight over to Prowler and you could easily ride it twice in the first 30 minutes the park is open. I'm sure there will be exceptions when this won't work, but in April and May people seem to trickle in later rather than earlier.

And even if there are hour plus lines all summer, this occurs at the end of summer and you can't tell me you won't be waiting in line regardless of the wait. :) On plus side, it will probably reduce the lines for Patriot and Mamba

Sunday Mornings are really good for the trickle in effect. I found that out last summer.

Especially more so with the new 10 minute head start.

I don't remember ever waiting very long for Patriot when it opened.  Maybe the occasional 30 minute wait late on a Saturday.

Then again I usually only go the park on weeknights or for late Saturday night riding (10pm and later).

Add in the fact that Prowler is wood and I think that the average wait will be much shorter than Patriot's during it's first year.

I don't think the lines will be too bad. Maybe on a painfully busy Saturday. But mornings on Sundays are always quiet, half the city being at church then lunch until almost 1. I love not having a job to worry about... I can go when I want!  dancing_banana

But don't overlook hourly capacity.  Patriot puts out 1080 persons an hour compared to Prowler's 850.  I also won't be surpised if Prowler opens with only one train for the first few weeks.

Ugh. I do. It was TERRIBLE. I went on it once and waited 2 hours. After that I refused to ride it if the lines were too long.

^^Last I heard only one of the trains has been delievered.  It takes time to put the train on the track and do all the needed testing.  I'm not saying it will absolutely be one train op, only stating it's a possiblity.

We still have 2 months until opening day! I wouldn't worry about that other train being there yet.

Hello everyone, I want to first introduce myself. My name is Ashley and I am the new intern for the Sunbury office. I’m here assisting Chris, Dan, and Adam with the assembly of the Millennium Flyer Trains for 2009.
We have already completed both trains for Prowler and one is already on site. We just finished the Forellenhof train on Thursday of last week and it will be shipping on Wenesday of this week.
I would also like to take this time to say how thankful I am for this opportunity to work as an intern for Great Coasters Int. Be sure to look for more post in the future with updates on the construction of the Terminator trains and the commissioning of all three coasters.

^ That is from the NEW (NEW!!!) GCI intern, Ashley.

Well having Prowler on the night bill for ERT will definitely keep more people around.
I'm excited about that night time ERT, I would imagine that night rides on Prowler will be similar to night rides on the HoliWoodies
