This years event brings in the likes of The Wolfman, Chucky, and the infamous JIGSAW from the SAW series. Universal Orlando Resort will be bringing these names to life right in front of your very eyes at Halloween Horror Nights 19! Other names who have been mentioned and will be coming are Dracula and Frankenstein. They will be reimaged and brought to you in a more terrifying way. This years icon is very terrifying himself, The Usher Julian Browning had worked for the Universal Palace Theater before his death, but even so he still demands proper respect for the movies, tickets please.

Any thoughts?

My thoughts are this will be one awesome event! The scare zones look amazing and I will be bringing pictures of those tomorrow not to mention the houses sound incredible. If you can make it out this year please do so!

Well I was able to make it the park today and thought I'd bring the entrance and the War of the Living Dead scare zone to you guys! I got a few pictures of the entrance this year but thought these two would work the best. Then I got some pictures of War of the Living Dead to show you guys how much detail goes into the event. There is a lot of detail in this event and I just thought I'd show you guys that. The houses are phenomenal and the scare zones look just as good! Without further waiting lets look at Halloween Horror Nights 19: Ripped From the Silver Screen shall we? Tickets Please.

Random Sign around the entrance of the park. This should give you a somewhat good idea of what the Billboard ads look like this year.

I think it has really good potential.  But I also think it could quite possibly bomb.  It all depends on if the creative license they take with the characters ends up crapping all over the classic interpretations of them.

My plan is right now to try to go next year for XX.  Definitely won't be making it out this year.

I got a feeling that it's gonna be a very good year. The reimage of Dracula and Frankenstien will be phenomenal and when you add the Wolfman to the mixup of classic monsters? Thats a winner in my book. Adding Jigsaw and Chucky just makes it appeal that much better. Plus Silver Screams, The Spawning, and Leave it to Cleaver are all looking to be a fantastic houses!

But cant wait to see ya at HHN 20, I know I'll be there!

Well I had the pleasure and fun of taking part of a Conference Call with Michael Roddy one of the Halloween Horror Nights Designers today and here are some interesting facts we learned.
-Phantom of the Opera was one of the first movies shown at the theaters and like Julian the Phantom knew every inch of the Opera House while Julian knows every inch of the theater.

-Julian is responsible for a lot of the tragedy's that happened in the theater. He became obsessed with the films. He does not put up with disrespect for any of the films.
-The theater closed in the 1940’s and what happened was there was a showing of Phantom when Julian met his death and every event was tied to the movie shown. What happened after the tragedy's is the decision to shut the theater down came as no one started to go.
-The front arch will look like the Universal Palace theater.
-The usher presents the events and mazes above the theater.
-You will feel the ushers presence all through the event whether in the mazes, or even face to face.

I have some more pictures of Halloween Horror Nights 19. This time it's photos of some of the scare zones such as War of the Living Dead, Apocalypse: City of Cannibals, and Horrorwood Die-In. I also took a few pictures of the entrance screen and of the Usher out front. I did not get many entrance photos and I'll be getting more for sure as well as other scare zone pictures. Don't forget to check the reviews of the houses which are coming soon. I didnt go to far in depth in the reviews because I always like to leave mystery when it comes to reviews, I don't like to spoil ever like to spoil the houses.

MORE PICTURES TO COME!!!
This year is absolutely great and I hope you guys can make an effort to go it's well worth it.

Well I'm hitting Horror Nights again tomorrow so I'll be bringing pictures from Containment, Cirque Du Freak, Lights Camera Hacktion, and some more of Horrorwood. After looking around the internet I found that one of my favorite horror films has some characters in it, The Strangers. So I'm gonna go and take some pictures of them for the forums. Be sure to check back because the pictures ARE coming tomorrow night!

Sorry for a triple post but went to Halloween Horror Nights tonight and had a blast. The Wolfman house is just fantastic and the ending is to die for as it really is one of the most intense endings ive ever witnessed and its an awesome site that one most witness first hand. I also did Silver Screams to before calling it a night. I spent most of the time in the scare zones getting scared crazy. But back to Silver Screams I got some great scares in the house and the scenes are just awesome. But below are some pictures from the scare zones. I finally found The Strangers and I took tons of pictures of them!

The reviews are finally in and I am happy to announce that. Please be sure to check the main page out to read about the houses. I did not go to far in detail in them so they'd be left a mystery but I'll answer any questions about the event that you have in the thread! Hope you guys like the reviews!

Great photos.  This is actually the first I've seen any of the Universal stuff.  Looks like a good time.

Thanks Jason! Ya it is an awesome time and is a great experience to try. I think my favorite photo was the Strangers one with the Masked Man pointing because before I took it he scared a huge group of people and set up a scare for Pighead from SAW. Then the Pinup Girl from The Strangers came in and Masked Man scared from the side. It was a bunch of scares and the group went running out of the Horrorwood Scare Zone. It was pretty cool to see the teamwork on the scares.

To be perfectly honest I've never sought out information regarding the event.

I've always heard good things but it's one of those things that I never planned on attending.

Since it popped up here it was pretty easy to check out.  Now I'm going to check out your photos.

^But after seeing me and Bradleys pictures Jasons thinking of flying to Orlando for Halloween Horror Nights 20 and of course Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit

Also very nice pictures Bradley. They bring back such good memories of my very first HHN which was 17 when Freddy, Jason, and Leatherface came out for there own haunted houses. That was a memorable year for me because like I said it was my first HHN. Did you manage to do the original All Night D-I-E In that night to at HHN 13? I noticed your pictures and I heard that was an awesome house as it mentioned movies that we all love and have grown up on in the horror genre.

Unfortunately, for HHN 13 we arrived in Orlando around 6pm on Sat November 1st (the last night that year).  Leaving the airport I got turned around and somehow ended up in Daytona.  Then I ended up about an hour south of there.  Finally made it to the event around midnight or so after checking in at the hotel.  We really only had time to hit up one house and most people recommended Scream House re-visited.  Although I agree that most of the buzz since that year on places like IOACentral has been for the All Nite DrIvE-IN Theatre.  I really liked Scream House 2 and The Caretaker is somewhat the inspiration for the costume you see on my avatar.  We also were able to see Bill & Ted which was pretty funny.

Overall though HHN XVII was more enjoyable for us.  We had a frequent fear pass and we went on a Thursday and Sunday night.  On the Sunday night we had also purchased Express Passes for HHN.  That made a huge difference.  We saw all the houses and the shows on Sunday night plus rode all of the open rides.  It was a great way to spend our 4th Anniversary.

Well in that case how was the Screamhouse Re-Visited. I saw the original Screamhouse in a Travel Channel show that showed a couple of houses from Horror Nights 12. But how good do you think the house was? It looked pretty good because it was themed well I heard. But the All Nite D-I-E In was suppose to be awesome with the movies. It reminds me a lot of Silver Screams. I wont ruin what movies are in it but some really good ones are in it.

I actually have the DVD of that video (bought it at HHN 13).  It was very similar and I thought it was very well done.  Not as good as Dreamwalkers, Trapped in the Walls or Club Muse though (the later two were at HoS).
