I'm surprised to see one go into both KI and CP in the same year. Looks like a badass ride though.

Not going to lie -- pretty jealous that KI is getting one next year and WOF is not. They have been pretty much the same with the additions lately - 2009 (huge coaster), 2010 (twinkle lights). I wish we could have done our Planet Snoopy retheme as well as the WindSeeker addition, but maybe I'm just being greedy. Perhaps something big is in the works not that far down the road.

I think we all agree that WoF has been very neglected in the flat ride department. This would be even better here because we don't even have a regular Wave Swinger. Prowler, Patriot, and Spinning Dragons are all well and good, but our flat rides are aging (badly). An amusement park is about more than just coasters. CF better be planning something really good for WoF...

I second the notion that WoF would be a perfect fit for a 300+ foot ride. Seems like the perfect flat ride addition to the park.

I can't wait to ride it at Cedar Point this summer. I've rode the normal swing ride at CP but this, incredible.

It would look amazing and that's why I want one. Of all the parks in the chain WOF probably has the best "long range viewing" of its skyline

I actually think it needs to go where Fjord Fjairlane is. That would give Scandinavia a high profile ride. Fjord Fjairlane could be moved about anywhere in the park and still work. Shoot move it to where Tibetian Treats is or even put it over by Patriot where Rockin' Reeler used to be (how ironic would that be)

I don't think that plot of land is big enough for Windseeker, where as where Fjord Fjairlane is much bigger and would be easier to expand if neccessary -- also remember that Europa is sort down in a valley, you want this tower ride up on a hill.

Take notice that both KI and CP have installed their Windseekers in areas that are relatively dead. Apparently, they believe the rides will be anchor attractions and their visibility will draw more guests to said areas.

Personally, I would put a Windseeker in the place of Skyliner.

^Yeah but that is right next to Patriot which defeats the purpose of what you were talking about... thus why Europa or Scandinavia will be your leading contenders.

I imagine more people go through the park's entrance than choose to detour behind Ripcord.

Fjairlane has much higher ridership than Skyliner. Scandinavia does NOT have traffic problems (at least the upper half).

That's definitely the highest point in the park.

It's probably 15'-20' higher than the base of Mamba's lift, which means you'd be approximately 115' above Mamba. If that doesn't ruin some underwear I don't know what will.

This is just a personal feeling, but I'm not sure Forum Hill would be the best spot for a huge ride like that since Detonator would be right next door.

Just my 2 cents.... I can't remember the topography of the land so it might not be feasible but I think it would look good in Europa kinda behind/in place of the pizza stand across from Taxis/Dutchman.

If that doesn't work, on the east side of Tivoli and north of Fling (if it would fit) would be a nice spot too. It keeps the marquee rides kinda spread out some.
