This came up in a SFoG thread on Coaster Buzz. Any guesses? Wind Seeker?

There are too many different possible meanings of "launches" to really know right now.

1. Launches as in launched coaster?
2. Launches as in a boat launching - river battle?
3. Launches as in a space shot?
4. Launches as in a something "taking off" like a wind seeker?

Then you get to the word "exclusively"
That could mean...

1. The only one of it is kind in the world.
2. The only one of it is kind in the the US.
3. The only one of it is kind in the chain.
4. The only one of it is kind in the state.
5. The only one of it is kind in the park.

Are they announcing tomorrow too? I know that SFGAm and SFoG are supposed to.

Screamscape is reporting this morning that SFoG might be getting a launched Eurofighter. That would fit the clues for SFStL as well.

I hope that it's a lap bar version if that is in fact what StL is getting.

It is going in the location of Riverview Racer... and it is a permanent park model.

Well at first my sources said that this was supposed to be one of the traveling Fun Time versions that they use on the fair circuit over in Germany, but the park confirmed that it is indeed a permaneny park model, for which I am very excited about.

The version SFStL is getting (imo) is more scary since it has chains for the seats whereas the windseeks have solid arms.

I was going to head over to StL and check out Sky Screamer but it looks like it's down for the rest of the year.

Wow, that sucks. Do the parks have any recourse with the company that made the ride (i.e. free repairs)? I'd be pretty upset if I was heading out there to ride it and found out it was going to be down all year.

Well that's just the thing, the park isn't being very truthful with its guests about it being down the rest of the year. They are actually being pretty tight-lipped about it. They did admit on their facebook page that they're "waiting for parts to arrive" but failed to mention it being down the rest of the year.

Today he posted the rumor that CP is adding two coasters next year, which is absurd.

Yeah that's not happening. What I posted in the New for 2012 thread is the most up to date rumor for now
