Worlds of Fun 2011?
« on: Jun 17, 2010, 07:34 »
It was mentioned in the blog that an announcement regarding the 2011 addition would be in August.

Any guesses?

I'm not a huge fan of futuristic ice cream.  I prefer the current day stuff.

I wonder what the hot dog of the future would be like?

Good point.  I'm pulling the Hebrew Nationals out of the freezer later.

I remember a couple seasons ago, there where flags in the old OE lot, but I think Brandon denounced those in the last blog:

Hey, I have noticed that the Orient Express area is still empty with the exception of the loading station. Do you know if there are any plans for a new coaster in that spot for 2012 or 2013 or any time in the future? thanks

From Brandon:

No plans at this time.

I don't remember seeing flags or markers anywhere else in the park.

Those flags were for the addition of the "top" for the staircase down to Club Blood

^Big enough for a roller coaster. :P

Personally I'd like for OOF to build something like Adventureland's new Bermuda Quadrangle slide complex

Pretty big. You could fit just about anything under 200' in there. I suppose a dive coaster of that size would fit too.

A new Dip 'n Dots stand.
Darn it, I was hoping for something better than Dippin' Dots. I was hoping for a Mini Melts Stand! I have had them both and I like the taste of Mini Melts better than Dippin' Dots!

Any kind of thrill ride would work for me.  I can't image it being another coaster though.  I wonder if anything will be taken out.

I don't care what it is as long as its something.

Anyone else think something like Ispeed would look good over in the old OE spot?

There isn't much room for the que or a maint shed for a coaster if you leave the taxis.

There's plenty of other places throughout the park that they could place a coaster.

i know this thread is for wish lists but we've had....what....four new coasters in 8 years? Something like that? I think we are set on coasters for a while. I would bet five years at least.

On the new blog Brandon shows a picture of a wooded area full of tape, any guesses? My guess is its the Camp Gonnagitcha site.

I might be interested in that Marathon if it's on Prowler or Mamba.  I'm not capable of marathoning Patriot.  :puke:
