I don't see how they'll be able to fit 6 new one's without removing something.

I think adding more stuff can be done, since there is good distance between most things up there.

I do hope that part of the money is used to help inside Peanuts Playhouse. It is so much fun in there, even for the little kids that are  not quite 36" but still walking. The whole family really has fun in there.  Just wish more of the equipment worked properly.

Well they are removing the Scary Tree/Kite Eating Tree.  They are removing the building that looked like a school up by Snoopy Bounce, they are removing the lake area/Sally's Dance School.  Then they are using the two empty spots near the Playhouse, the hill and then the area near Mamba.

I'm so excited about this addition, since I'm a mother of three, and my little ones are 3 & 4 years old, they are going to love this!

Does anyone know, would the monorail be a suspended version or ride on the rail?

Shelley I totally agree. Granted mine is a newborn in a year or so Planet Snoopy is going to be the place to be. Glad to see it getting attention even though it wasn't bad before. Just like us BIG kids the Little ones like seeing new things as well!

I'm just glad that it's not an ice show.

We could still get one in Tivoli.  The stage/theatre that they have at Carowinds appears smaller than ours and they have an ice show in it.

From the concept art you can see parts of the building, so I'm going to assume its staying.  :dunno:

Anyone know what this would be about? Is it a joke or something?

http://www.worldsoffun.com/public/fun/blog/index.cfm

That doesn't look like a regular construction stake.  Maybe it's for a water line or electric line.  Maybe their enhancing the front gate.

My nephew actually works up there and I asked him what the flag at the front of the park was for (couldn't find it) and he said that they're bringing back an old ride.  I have no idea, which old ride it would be.  Most of you know a lot more about the park than I do.  I'd love to hear your guesses.  I wonder why they didn't announce this with the Snoopy stuff?

I know last night there was 5 diffrent high school clubs here in town that went, cant imagine they put a very big dent in the crowd count tho.

An old ride? Lets see that could be Barnstormer, Omegatron, the Plunge, Rockin Reeler, Wing Ding, and Ninth Street Incline. I know theres alot more I'm just going off what I remember.

Here's my two cents on the mystery flag, A Carousel or Matterhorn from Geauga Lake.

Omegatron please.

No way I could ride that any more, but I do miss it being a part of the parks landscape.

Unless it is going to be a "next generation" of some of these old rides I'm not really sure what they mean by "an old ride returning" -- Omegatron was scrapped when OExpress was scrapped.  Maybe Rockin' Reeler, but I thought it was scapped as well?!?

An "old ride returning" could mean anything, really. But what would Worlds of Fun build that would be appealing to new people as well as the fans of old?

<---- I think you know what my vote would be.

Didn't Geauga Lake have a ride similar to Reeler called the "Haybaler" only it was a flying bobs?
Where did that ride end up?

I found a website of all the flat rides Geauga Lake had.

http://www.geaugalaketoday.com/Rides.htm

It seems they did, and I'm going to assume its in storage because some rides in the list have blanks in the space for year closed. But the Hay Baler ride is 34 years old, would WoF want something that old?

My initial reaction to something old was the Schussboomer, but I honestly didn't consider a coaster. One that size would be perfect for the park.

I don't really understand what Brandon meant by that post about Festahaus.  Does he mean it is no longer available for the rest of the season or that it is no longer available because they are removing it for good?!?!

Ok, just throwing this out there... could the new ride be a WindSeeker?  It would be a newer version of Barnstormer
